For one week, Quebec’s winter landscape will become a playground for wind-powered racing enthusiasts, who will compete in three disciplines: Kite, Sled and Wing..

Beyond the competition, the Championship will also introduce the public to the world of ice and snow sailing and showcase the exceptional natural setting of Lake Saint-Pierre

Cerf-volant (Kite)

Harnessing the power of the wind with a kite, athletes combine speed, control, and strategy on snow or ice.

Traineau à voile (Sled)

A signature ice and snow sailing discipline in which competitors use a specially designed sailing sled to turn wind power into speed.

Aile (Wing)

A modern and spectacular discipline in which athletes use a handheld wing to harness the wind and glide across snow or ice.

Located on the shores of Lake Saint-Pierre, Club Multivoile offers a 200-metre-wide by 200-metre-long area that meets WISSA requirements. These are the minimum dimensions required for competitions to be held in accordance with international standards.
